Konpeíto is a very special foal... he was created for me by my friend Becky Turner, who customized the Breyer PAF mold into an adorable Arabian colt and her friend and artist buddy Sommer Prosser then custom painted him into the sweetest going grey palomino with sabino gene indicated by soft pink markings on his exposed "peepee" and lips...
All about him is adorable and sweet, as well as his name, given to him in honor of the tragic happenings in Japan in March of 2011, when he was being created... Konpeíto (or Kompeíto, from the Portuguese confeito, which means a sugar candy) is the multicolored Japanese sugar candy so well known and adored by anyone in Japan... I thought it was an appropriate name to mark the character of this adorable creation and remember the tragic events during which he was being crafted...
Konpeíto makes a beautiful PBA colt... Both his parents are very exotic and beautiful, passing on their magic onto this unique little "man", who is really a work of Art !
