LBR Fleuve des parfums is the most lovely and elegant young colt at MirrorManor, out of our beautiful late Straight Russian stallion Saxon Re'em and from the beautiful Straight Egyptian mare Bint Bhendi.
He is a young fleabitten chestnut based grey with the softest colored coat and silky hair... He has the sweetest character and loves to be around people.
This fine piece of art is Breyer's Family Arabian Stallion, also known as the FAS. He was slightly customized (head) painted and haired with mohair by the talented Juliane Garstka of Germany.
We named him "fleuve des parfums", which is French for "perfume river" or "river of perfumes". The Perfume River (Sông Hương or Hương Giang; 香江) is a river that crosses the city of Huế, in the central Vietnamese province of Thừa Thiên–Huế Province. In the fall, flowers from orchards upriver from Huế fall into the water, giving the river a perfume-like scent, which inspired to its name. (See a photo below)
He is so soft and at the same time exotic looking and rare (Juliane Garstka never really creates Arabians), that we thought of this beautiful name for him.
Check out his pedigree & photos below :)
