Stargate is a magnificent son by our Asil stallion Ăl-ĭksīr and dam Pagode de jade. He has the best features of the Asil-SE, Weil-Marbach and SR lines. Exquisitely refined, with a calm disposition, he loves to be at the center of attention and knows what a beauty he is.
He has a luscious deep dark bay coat, so dark in fact, that he looks black or deep black-brown. Depending on the light he shows coppery colored areas and if wet, he looks as if he was dipped in dark chocolate, dark honey or syrup. A really elegant colt, full of charisma. Both his parents are grey, the dam bay based and the sire chestnut based, but he did not inherit the grey gene - he had his own idea of perfection for himself :)
This beautiful Arabian was sculpted by famous Arabian breeder, owner and artist Ed Gonzales and named "Status Symbol". It was issued in a limited edition in resin and is still being produced in bisque porcelain by The Lakeshore Collection Ltd. in the USA, through owner Cynthia (Cindy) Neuhaus. They issued several regular run colors of this sculpture, as well as limited edition colors from time to time. This copy is number 10 of a limited edition of 15 pieces, custom glazed by artist Linda Watson Gresham for The Lakeshore Collection.
